…Commends Restoration of Peace, Seeks Support And Cooperation, to initiate processes to heal psychologically disoriented citizens.

HIs Royal Majesty (HRM), Solomon Eziokwubundu Nwabuokei Nwoko, the New Traditional Ruler of Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom, Aniocha North LGA, Delta State has sued for peace, forgiveness and reconcilation among members of his Community while promising to be a leader and not a ruler as the new Monarch of the Community.
The Monarch made this assertion today in a press briefing with some group of Journalists in his residence at Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom Aniocha North LGA, Delta State when asked on the recent happening concerning his Kingdom stated that he had emerged through a transparent process that has regards for customs and traditions of his people.
He noted further that following the demise Obi Albert Nwoko III on the 6th of February, 2017, following the incident he said that took place in 1927. He said: “By principle of primogeniture his name was forwarded to Aniocha North Traditional Rulers Council by the Iyase of of the Kingdom which led to a protracted tussle on the throne, coupled with agony, bloodletting, court cases in the Kingdom”.
HRM Eziokwubundu while thanking the good people of Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom home and abroad, Community Stakeholders, and others, most importantly; Aniocha North Traditional Rulers Council led by HRM Francis J. Ijei II, Obi of Issele-Azagba Kingdom for recommending him as the New Monarch of Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom to Delta State Government as he awaits Staff of office sued for peace, support and cooperation from all and sundry in his domain towards Community Development.
In his words: ” I thank everyone who has played vital roles towards the restoration of peace in Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom. I thank the Delta State Government. I thank the Traditional Rulers Council on the true History, native law and custom of Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom which affirmed me as the only person in Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom which under the application of the rule of hereditary/Primogeniture system of succession remains exclusively entitled to hold or fill any immediate vacancy in the traditional rulership/Obi tittle of Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom”.
“Space and time will not permit me to thank everyone who played vital roles towards my emergence as new Monarch of Idumuje-Ugboko Kingdom. I will initiate processes of healing our wounds. I shall welcome and be receptive to new ideas that would develop our community and tap into its Cultural history with a view to developing our vast and rich tourism potentials. I therefore sue for peace, forgiveness and Recommendation. I shall open our town to every genuine indigene that is willing to develop our community”.
