Ward 9 APC Chairman, Oshimili North LGA, Hon. Raphael Okeleke Enthusiastic As PDP Heads Join APC.
….Former 2021 PDP Councillorship Aspirant, Others Decamped to APC In Oshimili North LGA of Delta State.

Oshimili North LGA, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP may lose grip of Ward 9, Ugbolu Community as greater number of Persons from the Party today decamped to APC in Oshimili North LGA, Delta State.
The media learnt this today being 6th of May, 2021 at Ugbolu Community, Oshimili North LGA, Delta State as APC Leaders in Ward 9, Oshimili North LGA, Delta State received former Councillorship aspirant, PDP leaders, others as decampees from Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the local Government to All Progressive Congress, APC.
Our reporter learnt that some leaders from PDP in the Local Government recently decamped to APC in addition to today’s unfavourable development for PDP family, a former two-time Councillor, former leader of the legislative Arms Oshimili North LGA, Former Delta North Chairman, and Delta State Chairman of Councillors Forum, Chairman House Committee on Chieftaincy Affairs, who served between (2014-2017), (2018-2020), Hon. Kema Egenu stated that Oshimili North APC will unite to take over power from PDP that his party is working towards achieving this said objective.
Our reporter during the event interviewed the APC Ward Chairman, Hon. Raphael Okeleke to get his take on the present additional value that APC is witnessing in the locality, he stated that for him it is a good development as he is very glad to have PDP heads coming to APC, while promising to work together with them to win elections in the ward, local Government and Delta State at large.
Ogbueshi Stanley Nwanze, AKA (Nwata Kwochaka Osolo Ogalanya Lienli) former PDP 2021 Councillorship aspirant in Ward 9, DSIEC Ward 19, Oshimili North LGA, who hinted to our reporter that he was the community’s choice in the last LG Council elections in the state but didn’t make the primary election stated that he decamped to APC from PDP, he said: “I view PDP as a collapsed party. They don’t have the hearts of the masses. They don’t work harmoniously, they have ruled for many years, but no government presence in Ugbolu. I decamped to bring light in Ugbolu and excellent development in Ugbolu Community”.
Another PDP strongman who decamped to APC, alongside the former PDP 2021 Councillorship aspirant, Mr. Okonkwo Chukwuma who disclosed to newsmen when asked the reasons for his decamping to opposition party APC in Delta State, he told our reporter that he decided to decamp to APC because PDP is still a party yoked with god-fatherism, that Ugbolu is currently lacking government presence, that they will bring light and development to Ugbolu community through APC leverage as members of the party now.
In that major event of great advantage to APC in Oshimili North Local Government Area, the following persons were seen as decampees: Ogbueshi Akunne, Chief Ifajika, Chief Godwin Iwuna, Ogbueshi Stanley Nwanze, Ogbueshi Fidelis Ndubuokwu, Ogbueshi Anthony Esealuka, Mr. Tobechukwu Onyeisi, Okafor Okeleke Uche, Mr. Ifeanyi Mordi, Mr. Okonkwo Chukwuma, and so many others to mention but a few of the multitude that decamped to APC.
Also speaking is the
former two-time Executive Chairman, Oshimili North LGA, and APC Ward, Oshimili North LGA Leader, Hon. Barr. Ben Okonkwo who commended the Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ovie Omo Agege, the founding fathers of the party in Delta, leaders of APC in Oshimili North, especially Hon. Chief Ideh for his commitment to the party then stated that APC Ward 9, and Oshimili North LGA is ready to work with everyone while welcoming the multitude of decampees from PDP to APC.
According to him, “Am a man of peace and will continue to work together with other like-minds in the party to promote unity, oneness, and progress for all in the party in Oshimili North LGA, Delta State, for the good of Deltans and Nigeria in general which is in line with the current slogan of the party. We assure all the decampees that many big personalities will also decamp to APC within a short time. We enjoin the decampees to feel at home and make impact towards ensuring that the party takes over the local government, and Delta State come 2023”.
Ugbolu Community was agog as notable Delta, Oshimili North LGA APC Leaders attended enmass the occasion to witness the decamping spree. The following dignitaries graced the occasion:Two-time Executive Chairman, Hon. Barr. Ben Okonkwo, APC Ward 9 Chairman, Hon. Raphael Okeleke, Hon Sabotie, Hon. Maxwell Ajufo who is one of the APC Leaders in Ward 5, Ibusa, and Oshimili North LGA, Hon. Austine Izagbo, Hon. Chidi Okonji, Delta APC State Secretary, APC State Youth Leader, Agali Christopher, APC Oshimili North LGA Chairman, Dcn Umerah, APC State Assistant Treasurer, Hon. Odikpo Eleazer, and so many others to mention but a few of them.
Our reporter interviewed the APC Oshimili North LGA leader, Chief Ideh who urged the decampees to remain united in their political mission towards winning election in the Local Government come 2023. Also speaking is one of the decampees to APC who was formerly a leader in PDP, Chief Ifajika admonished the his colleagues to work together with everyone in team spirit like the togetherness of a broom for victory at all times.
