Ambassador Efe Ekure, the Delta State Gubernatorial Candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) for this year’s 2023 general elections in the State, has said that he is not aware of a purported moves on merger talk by Delta ADC with APC or any opposition political parties to unseat the rulling Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Delta State as Nigeria youngest Governorship Candidate urges Deltans, the general public to ignore such Publications by some mischievous persons in the party.
Ambassador Efe Ekure, ADC 2023 Guber Candidate and Nigeria’s political parties youngest Governorship Candidate made this disclosure in a press statement duly signed by the Director-General, Efe Ekure 2023 Guber Campaign Organization, Ambassador Jim Orevaoghene today being on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 which was made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital, has disclaimed, debunked the alleged publications by one of the Delta ADC party Executive as he described the said, purported merger talk as mischievous, unintelligent propaganda, falsehood, fake news
The Director-General of Efe Ekure 2023 Delta ADC Gubernatorial Campaign Organization, Ambassador Jim Orevaoghene Anneh has said that his principal Ambassador Efe Ekure, World renowned African Youth leader cum Ambassador is a man of goodwill, a principled man that believes in equity, justice and fairness, that the Nigeria’s 2023 political parties youngest Governorship Candidate is not being sponsored by political godfathers, that Efe Ekure is contesting to win elections, liberate Deltans and will not compromise his mandate for stomach infrastructures nor for temporary financial inducement.
Efe Ekure’s Campaign Organization while restating their principal’s commitment to serve Deltans if emerged as winner of the Guber election come this year 2023 described publications as misleading, stated that their principal with not condescend so low to such ungodly negotiations to mortgage Delta State rather that Ekure is working for the salvation and freedom of Deltans like the ‘Biblical Esther and Mordecai”.
Ekure Campaign Organization also use medium to enjoin supporters, Deltans to remain resolute in their support for Efe Ekure, remain united, having faith in God as the struggle will eventually yield good results for positive change, transformation, sustainable and Socio-economic development of Delta State come this year 2023 general elections.
The press statement by the Director-General, Ambassador Efe Ekure’s Delta ADC 2023 Guber Campaign Organization, Ambassador Jim Orevaoghene reads in parts: “Our Attention has been drawn to a Facebook Publication made by one Mr. Uche Okonji, an ADC Delta North Senatorial Chairman and a close ally of the State Chairman, Barr Emma Dibia alleging that Delta state ADC is in talk with one of the Gubernatorial candidates to plan a Possible merger to unseat the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)”.
“We hereby use this medium to notify the general public, stakeholders and the entire deltans to utterly disregard such information as it is highly misleading. Our Principal and gubernatorial candidate, Amb. Efe Ekure is neither aware of any development of such nor is he involved (either in person or by proxy) in any form of political negotiation between ADC Delta state and any opposition party in the state.
Our Principal is principled, a Man of Honour who believes in goodwill, equity and honesty. He will never compromise his mandate for anything. Our principal, Ambassador Efe Ekure is a young man with foresight, guided with a vision and propelled by passion for true societal change and transformation”.
