The leadership of National Council For Women’s Societies (NCWS)-Nigeria, Delta State Branch led by its President, Mrs Helen Tsitse Bob-manuel, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his Successful Inauguration as Delta State Governor.
The media learnt this in a press release by the group’s State Publicity Secretary, Mrs Bridget Ebomah which was made available to some group of Journalists today being on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Asaba, Delta State capital as the leadership of NCWS-Nigeria, Delta State Branch prays for a successful tenure for the newly Sworn-in Delta State Governor.
National Council For Women’s Societies NCWS -Nigeria Delta State Branch is an umbrella body of women in the State with chapters in the 25 Local Government Area of Delta State whose primary objectives are: To protect the rights of women, promote women mobilization, emancipation, economic empowerment; poverty alleviation, employment opportunities and etcetera.
The group while thanking God for the Successfully inauguration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori uses medium to pray for God’s special grace, wisdom, protection to govern Delta State and end his tenure successfully.
The statement reads in parts: “The entire leadership of NCWS-Nigeria, Delta State Branch says a very big congratulations to our amiable Governor on your successful inauguration ceremony held in Asaba, Delta State capital on May 29, 2023. We wish you success in your entire reign in office as Delta State Governor. We urge you to make gender mainstreaming and inclusiveness in governance your priority in every sectors as regards political appointments into different offices”.
