In a bid to restore normalcy in Delta civic space in one numerous coalitions currently engulfed by crises over unlawful removal of the President of Delta State Civil Society Community led Executives by Rex Anigoro, Okezi Odugala and others which led to a legal action against some mischievous persons not to take laws into their hands.
High Court of Justice, Delta State, Nigeria in the Warri judicial division holding at Warri sitting has restrained Rex Anigoro, Okezi Odugala, Mr Venture Evweramre, and 11 others who are defendants to SUIT NO: W/108/2023 to stop parading themselves as Executives of Delta State Civil Society Community pending the hearing and determination of the suit filed against them by Dr. Martins Kediehon.
The media learnt this today being on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in a High Court court documents sitting in Warri, Delta State granted an interim order restraining Rex Anigoro, Okezi Odugala, Mr. Venture Evweramre and 11 others from parading themselves as Executives of Delta State Civil Society Community.
Justice V.O Agboje in an order of interim injuction restrained Rex Anigoro, Okezi Odugala, Mr Venture Evweramre and 11 others who are defendants to the case before the honorable court to stop parading themselves as members and Board of Trustees of the Delta State Civil Society Organization Community pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.
The suit is adjourned to June 19, 2023 for hearing of the application for interlocutory injuction.
