Frontier Ladies For Sheriff, has felicitated with the Former Managing Director/CEO of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Bashorun Askia Ogieh as the world celebrates fathers day today.
The group in a press statement by its Chief Convener/Coordinator, Okproko Ese Joyce today being on Sunday June 18, 2023 which was made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital as group described the former DESSOPADEC MD/CEO, Chief Bashorun Askia Ogieh as a Generous and Articulate leader.
Fathers’ Day is a Special day to honour one’s father, a day of showing appreciation, love to fathers for their relevance and support, vital roles they normally play; which they are known for ; as fatherhood, paternal bonds and influence of fathers in the family and society at large .
Frontier Ladies For Sheriff is a support group of young and middle age women whose objectives among others; supporting women aspiring for elective positions and ensuring the girl-child gets educated. The group stated that, it has become imperative to felicitate with their grand Patron, Bashorun Askia Ogieh as he has been a great father in the accomplishment of the set goals of the group.
The group describes the illustrious son of Isoko Nation as a political Iroko, A fine gentleman, An astute and grassroots politician with the heart of gold and thank him for being there always for the group, and also for playing vital roles in ensuring women empowerment and employment as one of the great Leaders in Delta State.
The group’s Chief Convener uses this medium to commend the roles fathers do play in the family as an agent of unity, love, mentorship, support- financially, mentally, socially, economically and otherwise towards Nation-building and Societal growth and development.
The formidable women group with its political structures in the three Senatorial Districts, 25 LGAs of Delta State wish him a Happy Fathers Day Celebration!. The group said: ” Today and every day, we honor and appreciate the fathers who fill our lives with love and laughter, we appreciate your support towards women and Youths over the years a loving, great, influential and selfless father with the heart of gold.
