The leadership of National Council For Women’s Societies (NCWS)-Nigeria, Delta State Branch led by its President, Mrs Helen Tsitse Bob-manuel, has congratulated the newly inaugurated Member Representing Oshimili South Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Bridget Anyafulu on her Successful Inauguration as one of the Delta Lawmakers.
The media learnt this in a press release by the group’s President, NCWS-Nigeria, Delta State Branch, Mrs Helen Tsitse Bob-manuel which was made available to some group of Journalists by the group’s State Publicity Secretary, Mrs Bridget Ebomah today being Monday June 26, 2023 in Asaba, Delta State capital as the leadership of NCWS-Nigeria, Delta State Branch prays for God’s protection, wisdom to guide her, wishes her asuccessful tenure in office.
Recall that Hon. Barr. Bridget Anyafulu, a member of National Council For Women’s Societies NCWS-Nigeria, Delta State Branch had served as an immediate past Executive member of the group in Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State. They used the medium to admonish her to be good Ambassador of Delta Women in the red chamber, while attesting to her competence, ability to attract the needed development to her Constituency, make a good Lawmaker as a tested and proven Media practitioner, Legal Practitioner, Development expert, Gender Activist, astute and grassroots politician.
The National Council For Women’s Societies NCWS -Nigeria Delta State Branch is an umbrella body of women in the State with chapters in the 25 Local Government Area of Delta State whose primary objectives are: To protect the rights of women, promote women mobilization, emancipation, economic empowerment; poverty alleviation, employment opportunities and etcetera.
The group while thanking God for the Successfully inauguration of Hon Barr Bridget Anyafulu as one of the Delta Lawmakers, Member Representing Oshimili South Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly use medium to pray for God’s special grace, wisdom, protection to continue her usual advocacy concerns, be the voice of Women in the legislative Arm of government as group wishes her well, a successful tenure as she resumes office this week in Delta State House of Assembly.
