As part of efforts towards motivating, encouraging and rewarding political pressure groups who worked tirelessly, assiduously to ensure the victory of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that saw the emergence of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in this year’s Gubernatorial elections in Delta State, the Chief of Staff To Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. Johnson Erijo, has said that a formidable socio-political pressure group, Delta Political Assembly, DTSPA demonstrated hardwork, great capacity and unity in the last election therefore will benefit from the rewards system.
Hon. Johnson Erijo made this remark today being on Thursday, August 24, 2023 during a delegation, courtesy call by the leadership of Delta State Political Assembly (DTSPA) led by its Coordinator, Comrade Williams Ugbo as group pledges support, restates commitment to PDP, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration, M.O.R.E Agenda Policy.
Delta State Political Assembly (DTSPA), a formidable socio-political pressure group with structures in the three Senatorial Districts, 25 LGAs and entire polling units in Delta State had joined forces with other pro-PDP pressure groups in Delta State to ensure that the party emerged victorious in the last elections in Delta State.
The group delegation as led by its Coordinator, Comrade Williams Ugbo and General-Secretary, Comrade Eriks Warri and other principal officers of the group had Congratulated the Chief of Staff To Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon Johnson Erijo on his political appointment during the visit to Former Delta Lawmaker at Delta State Government House Asaba.
DTSPA Leadership while pledging unalloyed, relentless support to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Delta State Government led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. Comrade Williams Ugbo has noted during his speech that the group will continue to support Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda policy to succeed, while urging Government to take cognisance of those that have laboured day and night to ensure that PDP party emerged victorious during the last election in Delta State.
Governor Oborevwori’s Chief of Staff, Hon Johnson Erijo while responding to the concerns as raised by the leadership of Delta State Political Assembly DTSPA during the group’s visit to Government House, Asaba told the leadership that the critical group is already noted as one of the critical stakeholders in Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration as he stated that members of DTSPA will benefit from the rewards system of this present administration directly or indirectly.
DTSPA delegation to Government House, Asaba while thanking Hon. Johnson Erijo for given them warmth reception during the visit to his office, then hailed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on developmental strides, the achievements so far within this few months of administration as Governor of Delta State.
