Ben E.A Oghojafor, PhD, Professor of Strategic & Entrepreneurial Management and The Vice-Chancellor, Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai, Asaba, Delta State, has said that the higher Institution aims at being a leading transformational University in Nigeria and the rest of the World in line with the Institution’s mission and vision statement.
Prof Ben Oghojafor made this remark today being Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in a telephone conversation with our reporter as he invites the general public, stated that, Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), Anwai, Asaba , Delta State is sets to hold her 1st In The Series Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai, Asaba Delta State is one of the three Universities established by Delta State Government in 2021 and is duly approved by National Universities Commission (NUC) to reduce the burden of increasing rate of students seeking admission into higher Institutions in Delta State, Nigeria and the rest of the world
Prof Oghojafor, the pioneer DOU VC before his appointment had held sway as the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Management Services, University of Lagos. He told our reporter that he is highly committed to making the University a hub of creativity and innovation.
Confirming the VC’s statement by Genevieve I. Obadan, The registrar, Dennis Osadebay University, (DOU), Anwai, Asaba, Delta State as contained in an invitation letter as signed by her on behalf of the management of the higher Institution, she stated that, DOU’s the 1st In The Series Inaugural Lecture will be delivered by a Professor of Political Science, Prof Robert Oghenedoro Dode On The Theme: “Scramble For the Black Gold And Rumbles In Nigeria’s Niger-Delta: Yesterday, Today….?”
