Special Assistant (SA) to Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on Youth Mobilization, and State Coordinator, Core Delta Youth, Comrade Amb. Uyero Erarawewho Jnr today on Friday, September 29, 2023, has congratulated his Boss, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevweri for his landslide victory as a three-member tribunal panel affirmed the Governor As the winner of the March 18, Delta 2023 Governorship election.
The media learnt this today being on Friday, September 29, 2023 from the Governor Oborevwori’s aide on Youth Mobilization who doubles as the State Cordinator, “Core Delta Youth” in a press statement made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital as he gives thanks to almighty God on Oborevwori’s victory at the State Tribunal.
You could recall that earlier today, three-member tribunal panel affirms Governor Oborevwori’s election victory at the March 18, Delta 2023 Gubernatorial election as tribunal dismisses Omo-Agege’s petitions. The Delta State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, today being on Friday, struck out the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’s petition challenging the election of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
In an epic judgement, the tribunal struck out the petition brought before it by Omo-Agege for lack of merit.
In its judgment as delivered by Justice C.H. Ahuchaogu-led three-member tribunal panel affirmed the return of Oborevwori as the winner of the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial election in the state.
The tribunal has in the judgement held that the petitioners failed to prove allegations of non-compliance with the Electoral Act and corrupt practices Beyond any reasonable doubt. Governor Oborevwori’s aide on Youth Mobilization, Ambassador Erarawewho Uyero Jnr while congratulating his Boss on victory at the State tribunal Commends Oborevwori’s Legal Team and Deltans on continuous support to DeltaState Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Government and Delta PDP.
Ambassador Uyero described Oborevwori as a youth-friendly Governor, good-spirited, generous, humble, and grassroots political Leader even as he used the medium to enjoin all Youths in the State to continue in their usual support of Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori towards ensuring the best Youth mobilization and development in Delta State and sustainable socio-economic and political development.
Comrade Uyero also called on the opposition party to join hands with the Governor in moving Delta Stats forward and not to appeal the judgment of the tribunal.
