…….As Ayovuata’s Daughter & Founder of CGWCI Mourns, Invites General Public To Late Father’s Funeral.

Ambassador Courage Uyoyou Ayovuata, Founder/CEO, Courageous Girls Women And Children Initiative (CGWCI), has said that the entire Isoko Nation, Delta State and Nigeria in general lost a great patriot as she mourned the demise of her beloved father, Mr. Richard Ogero Ayovuata.
In a press statement made available to some group of Journalists today being on Sunday, December 3, 2023 in Asaba, Delta State capital, the Gender Activist, Child Rights Advocate and Development Worker mourned the demise of her beloved father as she described him as a great, caring father, a testament of faith and a devout Christian, environmental activist, humanitarian and astute administrator who has impacted lives positively.
CGWCI Founder stated that her late father would be remembered for helping her all through her NGO journey whose thematic areas include: Skill Empowerment and livelihood support, Sexual and Gender Based Violence-SGBV Prevention and Response, Prisoner’s Skill Development and Empowerment, Installation of Solar Energy Systems to energize primary health care facilities in SGBV prevalent communities as well as Menstrual Hygiene Management among others.
Mr. Richard Ogero Ayovuata born 10th May 1961 into the family of Mr. & Mrs Uro Johnson Ayovuata, both of Uruwhre Quarters in Igbide, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, before his demise retired at grade level 17. As a man who believed in hard work, he wholeheartedly, diligently served the Government of Delta State at the grassroots level as he had for two consecutive times held sway as the Chairman of NULGE in Uvwie LGA.
The press statement by the family; Ayovuata Othuke Churchill and Ayovuata Courage Uyoyou reads in parts, “It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart but with strong Christian hope that we announce the death of our beloved father, brother, inlaw, and grandfather who had gone home to be with the Lord. May the Lord God Almighty grant him eternal rest as we console ourselves with the assurance of our Christian faith in the resurrection of Christ and our hope of resurrection”.
“The funeral arrangements are as follows:
At 9.00am prompt, Friday December 8, 2023, body leaves the hospital to his residence along Lagos-Igbide, Igbide, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
At 10.00am prompt commences the funeral and Interment Service at his residence, while at 12.00pm prompt commences Reception/Entertainment of Guests”.
“The family of Mr. Richard Ogero Ayovuata, of Uruwhre Quarters, Igbide in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State cordially invites you to the funeral ceremony of our beloved father, husband, Grandfather, Uncle and brother” who served as Founding Leader and Member Board of Trustees of the Courageous Girls Women and Children Initiative-CGWCI until his death”.
