UNESCO Laureate, Professor of Computer Science, Information & Communication Technology, Mewar International University, New Karu, Abuja, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, has commended the Convener/Chairman, and entire leadership of Southern Coalition of Civil Societies Organization & Pro-democracy Activists (SOCCISA) on invitation as Guest Speaker as groups set for ground-breaking event to Celebrate the forthcoming International Human Rights Day, December 10, 2024.
UNESCO Laureate disclosed this to our reporter in a Telephone conversation, today being Thursday, December 5, 2024 as he commended the humanitarian initiative of the leadership of Southern Coalition of Civil Societies Organization & Pro Democracy Activists as groups join the international community for annual celebration of the International Human Rights Day as declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948.
International Human Rights Day Celebration Commemorates one year Anniversary of the world Most ground-breaking global pledges. The theme of this year’s event as organized by SOCCISA is tagged: “Equality Reducing Inequalities & Advancing Human Rights” will chat wayforward towards addressing human rights abuse globally.
According to Aremu, The invitation Letter as signed by the Leadership of SOCCISA-Convener/ Chairman, Comrade Abdul Semiu, Secretary, Comrade Michael Uwagbana inviting UNESCO Laureate as Guest Speaker reads in parts: “Fraternal Greetings to you Sir. We are writing to remind you of international Human Rights Day Coming up in Ibadan, Oyo State, December 10, 2024 at NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan by 2pm Prompt.
Prof Aremu used medium to appreciate other Invitees who have accepted to feature, support and contribute maximally towards the Success of the program. SOCCISA International Human Rights Celebration Day event will witness the attendance of the following Dignitaries: Otumba Dr. Segun Showummi as Keynote Speaker.
