UNESCO Laureate, and Vice-Chancellor, Crown University Int’l Chartered Inc., USA, and partner campuses Worldwide, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu has rejoiced with Muslims all over the world as they celebrate the Sallah Day 2025 as he enjoined them to make prayers and the teachings of Islam their Watchword.
First African UNESCO Laureate in a press statement today being Sunday, Mach 30, 2025 which was made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital by his Executive Assistant On Media, Publicity & Communication Matters, Comrade Sir Bieni Victor Emenike, as Aremu urges Muslims in Nigeria, Africa, all over the World to make prayers and supplications for everyone their first priorities for a better Society.
Osun State born World Distinguished Professor of Information Communication Technology ICT stated that Muslims should observe the six pillars of Islam such as prayers, fasting, arms giving, peace, and love for one a other and others during this Sallah season to make the world a better place to live in.
He further enjoined that Muslims should emulate the exemplary life of Jesus the Messiah and make the teachings of Islam, Prophet Muhammad their Watchword on daily basis so as to bring peace, unity and love in the Society which he said matters most for peaceful co-existence on earth.
Professor Aremu added that Nigerians, Africans and the rest of the World are current facing challenges of food insecurity, negative effects of Climate Change insecurity, Youths unemployment, poor leadership and other societal ills, but with the United efforts, intensive, consistent, joint prayers of believers- Muslims and Christians and other faiths they are surmountable.

Muslims to support the disadvantaged, less privileged Nigerians, Africans and other nations to curtail the present challenges virus as they mark this season of Sallah Celebrations all over the World.
The Statement by Africa Head, Chairman Board of Trustees Unity of Nations Climate Change Council (UNACCC) reads in parts: “With the conclusion of the blessed month of Ramadhan on the 29th, today, the 30th of March 2025, has been declared the 1st of Shawwal, 1446 AH, marking the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr”.
“May Allah (SWT) accept our acts of worship, shower us with His mercy (Rahma), forgive our sins (Maghfirah), and grant us freedom from the Hellfire. May He count us among His righteous servants. Ameen, Ya Rabb. Eid Mubarak! Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum”.
