UNESCO laureate & Vice-Chancellor, Crown University International Chartered Incorporated, USA, with official partners constituents Campuses at government regulated Universities worldwide and online operation, Prof Bashiru Aremu has said that QA, Quality Assurance in higher Education will help to promote Youth development, Mentorship and monitoring as well as boost the economy of Liberia as he commended his recent discussion with Senior Senator Yormie Johnson, a powerful Liberian Senator On achievements of its results, objectives in the African continent.

The media learnt this today being on Monday, January 29, 2024 from the VC CUICI, USA in a press statement personally signed by him which was made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital by UNESCO Laureate’s Executive Assistant On Media, Publicity and Communication Matters, Comrade Sir Bieni Victor Emenike as Aremu stated that Quality Assurance in higher education are imperative for Africa to realize the vision of an integrated, Prosperous and peaceful continent.

You could recall that UNESCO Laureate, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu alongside with former Liberian of Culture & Tourism, Madam Louis Warmenwaah met with a powerful Liberian Senator and discussing extensively on Quality Assurance in Higher Education on areas that bothers on QA, Quality Assurance in higher education in Liberia soon after the inaugural ceremony of the new Liberian President, H.E, Joseph Nyuma Boakai.

According to UNESCO Laureate the discussion with Senior Liberian Senator is an excellent initiative that will strengthen the imperativeness of quality education in the African continent. He added that importance of international Quality Assurance in Higher Education cannot be relegated to the background as it will go along way to increase access to qualify technical, vocational, training and higher education research.

The Statement by Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu reads in parts: “Quality Assurance in Higher Education refers to the systematic evaluation and improvement of the quality of teaching, learning, research and services offered by institutions. It is a structured and continuous attention to quality in terms of maintenance and improvement. It helps for both internal and external assessments of schools, students and staff of institutions”.

I, UNESCO Laureate hereby commend our recent partnership with Sen Yormie Johnson. He is a powerful Liberian Politician was born on July 6th, 1952. He is a Senior Liberian Senator who has served as a Senator for Nimba County since 2006. Yormie Johnson played significant, prominent role in the area of promoting peaceful co-existence in the country during the first Liberian Civil war”.

“I congratulates you, Senator Yormie Johnson, Liberians on this collaborative efforts to mentor, develop, promote vocational skills amongst Liberian Youths and boost the economy of the country. Quality Assurance in higher education play vital roles such as promoting quality control approaches, harmonized quality higher education systems, and enable institutions, public universities to ensure regular review of their curriculum or educational practices. It shows outcomes, progress and performance requirements of academic programs”.

“The indicators of Quality Assurance in higher education such as leadership, learning experiences, planning, learning strategies, communication channels, decision-making, social instruction and climate, participation teaching methods, classroom management coordinator and adaptability will be excellent if effectively improved on. Also, the models of Quality Assurance in higher education such as: Goals and Specification, the process, Resources input, Organisational learning, legitimacy and absence of problems will be applicable at levels”.
